Nunti ("we", "our", "the app") is a personalised AI audio news digest service. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. By using Nunti you agree to this policy.
2. Data We Collect
• Account data: email address and hashed password (stored in Firebase Authentication). • Preferences: language, news categories, country, delivery time, audio persona — stored in Cloud Firestore. • Device token: Firebase Cloud Messaging token used to deliver push notifications. • Generated content: AI-produced audio digests are stored in Firebase Storage and linked to your account. • Usage data: standard Firebase Analytics events (app open, digest played).
3. How We Use Your Data
• To generate and deliver your personalised daily digest. • To send push notifications when your digest is ready. • To improve content quality and app performance. We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following services, each with their own privacy policies: • Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, storage, messaging. • OpenAI — script generation and text-to-speech synthesis. • GNews — news article retrieval.
5. Data Retention
Audio digests are retained for 30 days then automatically deleted from storage. Account data is retained until you delete your account. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Firebase Security Rules restrict access so each user can only read their own data.
7. Your Rights
